Results of the IRAT 2025 Competition (200 positions)

The Ministry of the Interior has launched the recruitment competition for 200 trainees for the normal cycle of the Royal Institute of Territorial Administration (IRAT) for the year 2025, via the official platform: concours.interieur.gov.ma.

About the IRAT cycle

This initial training cycle is aimed at future authority agents. It spans two years and combines military and administrative training. The program includes theoretical courses, practical workshops, seminars, internships, and study visits. Upon completion, graduates receive a Master's in Territorial Administration, granting them access to the rank of caïd.

Results and Selection Procedure

A pre-selection committee establishes a ranking of candidates based on their results, according to the criteria set by ministerial decree n°1338-18, amended by decree n°236.25. The factors considered include: diplomas, professional experience, and age.

Pre-selected candidates must upload their application file between the 23 et le 30 avril 2025 à 16h30 via the official portal.

Contents of the application file:

Completed application form (to be downloaded from the website).

Copies of obtained diplomas.

Transcripts (bachelor's and/or master's).

Front and back copy of the national identity card.

Medical certificate specifying height (template provided on the site).

Recent passport-sized photo.

Equivalence certificate for foreign diplomas.

Participation authorization (for civil servants) or employment contract (for contractors).

Any supporting documents related to the declared information.

❗ Applications will be rejected in cases of:

missing registration on the site,

incomplete or inconsistent files,

late submissions,

or failure to participate in two previous editions of the competition.

Selected candidates will receive an online invitation to download from the competition website.

Competition Process

The competition consists of two main stages: 1. Eligibility: written tests

Dissertation in Arabic

: topic related to governance or territorial development. ⏱ 3h | ⚖️ Coeff. 3 | Eliminatory: score < 5/20
Foreign language test (French or English)

Dissertation on a current topic. :

MCQ or short questions (institutions, citizenship, ministry missions). 3h + 1h30 | Coeff. 3 + 4 | Eliminatory: score < 5/20

At the end of this phase, a limited number of candidates (up to 4 times the number of positions) will be declared eligible.

2. Admission: practical and oral tests

Psychotechnical test

: evaluation of psychological compatibility with authority functions. Individual or group assessment
